Centre for Research in Agriculture, Journalism and Environment (CRAJE),
is a newly establised non-profit research based organization in the
Field of agriculture, journalism, environment, agroecotourism and other
related fields.
Centre for Research on
Agriculture, Journalism and Environment (CRAJE). has been established in 2066
under Organiztion Registration Act, 2034 of Nepal with the aim of providing
consulting services in different field of Agriculture, Journalism, Environment
along with research and training to the interested groups.
The organization, with the
attachment of highly qualified technical professionals is intended to do the
efficient research and consulting work along with training services in wide
ranging fields of agriculture, environment, journalism, engineering, agroecotourism, conservation and
management activities. The fields include Engineering, Agriculture/ Livestock,
Forestry, Roads and Highway, Irrigation, Water Resources, Hydropower, Water
Supply, Building Design, Environmental Studies, Socio-economic Studies,
Disaster Survey and Study, Survey Engineering, Bioengineering, Information and
Database Management etc.
Its core professionals have good
experience in government services and non-government institutions in different
working conditions and positions. They have substantial experience in training
curriculum development, guidelines and norms development, planning,
formulation, conducting survey of different levels, monitoring and evaluation,
design and management aspect of the development projects. In addition to this the firm maintains a
panel of energetic and experienced personnel in wide ranging fields who render
their services as full time and as resource persons.
Along with the research on Agriculture, Journalism and Environment, it started its publication wing and with 'Prakriti Prawaha' team it will continuously publishing a tri-monthly magazine on sustainable agriculture, tourism, environment conservation, organic farming and so on.
With these activities CRAJE will planning to operate the volunteer based program to help conserve agrobiodiversity, environment, Himalayas and cope with climate change effect here.
